COJ Standard Specs - Storm Sewer Pipe Revision

City of Joplin Standard Specifications

Revised Section 4200

Storm Sewer Pipe

The City of Joplin plans to remove the entire section and replace with this.  The general intent is to primarily utilize MoDOT specifications.

Specs have been modified so that only the basic pipe materials that the city currently specifies is allowed.

The City of Joplin believes this will allow the city to stay more current with the industry without investing large amounts of time in research.

Please review and email comments to Dan Salisbury in the next 10 days.  If there are no significant concerns, the City of Joplin will implement on all bids after that date.
